A message from ISTH President-Elect Pantep Angchaisuksiri, M.D.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as ISTH President from 2024-2026, advancing the Society's Strategic Plan and expanding its mission to all corners of the globe, while fostering an inclusive environment that welcomes professionals at every stage of their career.

As a longstanding member of ISTH, I have witnessed the Society's remarkable growth and influence, particularly under the leadership of my predecessors in recent years. I eagerly anticipate the ISTH 2024 Congress, set to convene in my hometown of Bangkok, Thailand. This prestigious event will bring together world-renowned scientists and researchers, fostering an unparalleled environment for learning, networking and professional growth.

Collectively, our global community has achieved significant milestones, yet the journey towards progress continues. I invite you to join me in further strengthening the Society's leading role in broadening access to scientific knowledge and education and cultivating new, diverse and expanded avenues for collaboration on a global scale. Together, let's propel the ISTH toward even greater impact and innovation.
